I bought this set of tools to change a broken bobbin. All the tools were used and useful and most households will not have the correct tools to work on sewing machine. Well worth the price.

The stubby screwdriver is a time saver. Removing the sewing plate was always a challenge in dexterity using the tool that came with my machine. When that piece got misplaced I was forced to look for a replacement. Now I have an easy to use screw driver that can be used on any of my machines. The brush did a great job cleaning the inside of the machine so I hope it holds up better than what I have read in some of the reviews.

Sewing machines come in different sizes and looks. But they share the same needs: screwdrivers, cleaning brushes and a tweezer to catch the threads. I just LOVE those small screwdrivers!!! One can work in the small space in the arm section, very easily. The brush is not as efficient. as a "painter's" brush but will catch dirt. The key word here is not to lose the ones that come with your sewing machine. Mine got stolen by mistake in a class. So these will serve as replacements. I did not recommend them for a gift because they are better quality ones in sewing centers.
