Bought this for a friend who doesn't see well. Didn't work as I wished. The fabric moved under the edge resulting in the wrong size seam allowance.

I bought a metal seam guide with a huge magnet and it is difficult to move to make adjustments on my vintage machine. I got these seam guides and they work great. They don't work well on newer plastic machines with the small metal plates and the plastic bobbin covers. But if you have an older machine, these are great and work well, and they are cute too!

The version I received had 3 very small magnets on the bottom -- about the size of a green pea. The metal area of my machine is large enough for only one or maybe two of the little magnets to hold on to, and that was not enough to make it secure. Returned the item.
