While this cable states it works with 2015+ Model X/S, it does not (-1 star). The 2021+ refresh moved the vehicle CANbus pin locations on the diagnostic connector from 18 and 19 to 9 and 10, respectively (that is, 18->9, 19->10).This is easy enough to do with a small wire (stripped) from a typical grocery twist-tie, insert about 1/4" from the connector side into the hole above where the mating plug would connect. This will push down the locking tab inside. If you got it in the right spot, gentle pull on the wire should easily pull out the back side. Props to the author of SMT to help me through this process.Other than that, the cable seems to be well made. My OBDLink MX+ fit well into the OBD side of this cable and worked perfectly. Most cables I found were $40+shipping, so at about $13, this was a bargain and I'm glad to have taken the risk, learned more about the connection, and the satisfaction to get it working!

Under the left dash in '99 328i bmw, has a little cover on my obd2. Kinda neat to have cable, I guess. I won't promise the production date so don't blame me

Works as intended. Connected to K+DCAN cable to run srs abs codes to the 20 pin under the hood for my 2000 323i.My dcan cable has a switch to bridge pin 7-8, but the cable works regardless of the switch position. So either the dcan cable is stuck to bridge 7-8 or this 20 pin has it bridged already.Regardless. Works for what I need.
