i have a 1 ton electric chain hoist in my shop. It is mounted to a steel I beam 14 feet off the shop floor. I have been using 2 and 4 leg polyester strap riggings for years but the problem was i often needed the 5’ straps legs to be different lengths for rigging. I ordered this 4 leg chain rigging and then added “take up hooks†to the hammerlock chain connectors at the top of each leg. This allows me to adjust the length each leg to the length I need. I built these add-ones with the same grade of chain and hooks as the original parts. This makes 4 leg rigging much more handy and easy to complete. It’s very easy and inexpensive to build this modification feature and also lets you shorten all the legs so you don't run out of lifting height on Side by Sides or Four Wheelers. You can do repairs or change the oil standing under them!

We have been getting by lifting things with regular chain for too long now. The load was never quite balanced properly and we were always re-adjusting. This set lets us balance out our different loads much better now for a safer and easier experience. I have found myself using this to lift longer logs with the tractor that were very hard to balance before when picked up by a single center point. I can now use two of the legs of this chain to spread out the lifting area making life so much easier.
