The fireplace is just what we wanted for a little supplemental heat and ambiance. The heat output is pretty standard (about as much as a blow dryer) for plug in models. The fan is relatively quiet. The remote does have a rather loud beep and has to be pointed directly at the unit, but works as expected. The install was straight forward but the bottom edge has no flange (designed for tabletop) so you need to be exact on measuring.The only thing I think I would wish this unit had was the ability to adjust the flame brightness. It is plenty bright enough without being obnoxious, but it might be nice to turn it down. Compared to other models I research I think this was the best choice at this price point and even pricier models since the colors have more options and a temperature setting.

This fireplace looks great and is fairly quiet! it also very bright w the flames being able to changed to different color while also providing heat! the fit wasn’t perfect for my chimney but i was able to work around that

Hope you are not buying for heat. It will be useful in bedroom but not large room. Love everything else about it. Great price. Love the color options.

Super happy with this however...Pro(s):1. Looks great2. Easy to use3. Installation was super simpleCon(s)1. Not super warm (it does heat well, I probably have it just in to big of a space so it takes a long time)2. Loud remote (also, the remote seems to use very standard RF signals, so some of my other remotes do fun things)Very pleased with this device though at this price point! I believe if I had it in a smaller room, not really the devices fault, I would even be happier!

This is a pile of junk. I tried to return it to Amazon, but it’s outside the return window. I paid to have it installed and in order to send it back I have to go buy a big box and pay somebody to come out and remove it for me because I am not strong enough to lift it. I am thoroughly disgusted that Amazon even has this product for sale. This product lasted about six weeks now it runs for two minutes and then turns off do not waste your money buying this piece of junk..

Easy to install and works really good, only issue is every time you cut the heater off the temperature setting goes to its lowest setting so you have to reset the temperature every start up

It heats up the room, has several color combinations for the rocks and flames. Not hard to install either.

I replaced an old square, fake recessed fireplace with this wide version and filled in the space with metallic, stick on tiles. I love the new look of the man cave!PROS:"""""""""- minimal construction to retro fit this unit- settings are easy to master- lighting effects are very customizable- gives of a decent amount of heat in our cold Canadian basementCONS:"""""""""- the four star is because the remote worked intermittently when we first unboxed and now it doesn't work at all. Changed the batteries but have to use the front panel touch screen to operate. Need to open a support ticket.
