How cooling towers work
During the heating process, as the temperature increases, the steam first enters the straight pipe on the left, and because the height is sufficient, it plays a good role in rectification. After that, the steam enters the copper pipe on the right, and turns into liquid again through the condensation of cold water.

Pour 50% water into the barrel to heat the distiller. Observe the thermometer. When the temperature reaches 90%, turn on the cold water, continue heating for 15-20 minutes, then stop heating, and open the lid after the water temperature in the barrel drops.

Distillation
Filling: Put the grate on the bottom of the bucket, and fill the bottom of the grate with clean water. Put the raw material to be distilled in the filter bag and put it on the grate.
Heating: Heat the distiller over an open flame.
Condensation: Observe the reading of the thermometer, when the boiling point of the raw material is reached, turn on the submersible pump for condensation
Disassembly: Do not open the lid of the barrel immediately after the distillation is over, and it can be disassembled and cleaned after stopping heating for 10 minutes.

So far it’s seems like a decent piece of equipment, but I was missing the hydrometer and the measuring cylinder was only 100 ml not 250 , seems not much to complain about but I believe in getting what I paid for nothing more nothing less. May update to 4 stars once it runs and I see the thing in action or if get my missing parts ,till then this is what it is .

I have purchased from Dibosh before, and was very satisfied every time. This product did not change that! 2 things stand out, 1 - the pot has 3 small dents 1 will be easily fixed with minimum effort, the others are small and I will not bother with them. 2 - the copper line coming out of the tower and in to the condenser was bent at a 45 degree angle. It does not look pinched, but i will test this out carefully to be sure. BOTH OF THESE ISSUES WERE SHIPPING RELATED! I can not, and will not blame the manufacturer for this, it was all due to some rough handling with shipping. It was obvious that when this left the factory great care was given to pack it up, but you cant predict how it is handled between seller and buyer.Other than that, it looks great, easy instructions, and no parts missing. I kind of know a few things about this kind of stuff, so it looks like it is ready to go! Welds look good, craftsmanship is better than expected. The pot is not as thick as I would have liked, but it will do the job fine.If there is an issue when I run this, I will update this, but I do not expect any problems.

Unfortunately I’m past the return window. It leaks on the condenser side. The cover is thin and makes the condenser shake as the pressure build inside . Condenser should be larger in size . Takes up to 4 hrs , causing waste of water and fuel. Design is perfect but device is very fragile .

First- I cleaned the stool twice with vinegar sand then water TWICE A before using it. It all came out clear. My first run of mash started out clear but eventually turned yellow/tan. It was not scorched- nothing in the column was scorched- no scorched flavor. I stopped the run. Cleaned the still a third and fourth time and ran it again a well out so later. Same thing. This time with particles floating. Not happy. Turned off propane- went and got my old condenser and it turned out clear as water. Something on the column is bad and I am super disappointed. Of course it’s too late to return. Please buy a better condenser column. The pot itself is great. No leaks and the clamping is wonderful. The column is the problem. Waste of money

The hole for the thermostat is just that. Only a hole. It's too big, not threaded and nothing to close it off when distilling. I had to put the thermostat in the hole and heavily tape it with hvac tape.

I ordered the 316 and the label on the box says 316, but the drum has writing on it that says 304... so who knows what it actually is... I cannot find a way to get a message to the seller, so maybe they'll see this. I waited long enough to get this one, I don't dare do a return. I may not get the next one...There is no packing in the reflux column and the copper tube connecting them together atvthe top looks like it's sealed in with hot glue and a thick plastic boot. Do yourself a favor and use the money on an all copper setup. It'll be worth it.
