So many safety pins today are made in a very cheap fashion, sometimes they cannot even penetrate matetial. These are high quality pons, nicely packaged in groups so they do not get tangled up. I will never buy any other safety pins after getting these. The best made for a reasobable price

I use these when doing laundry. I pin the metal zipper pulls snug against the item of clothing. This stops them from banging around in the dryer and make a lot less noise if you dry clothing item wrong side out…..also these will not rust and are extremely sharp.

These pins are sturdy, good quality, good value for money, sharp (glides in & out of 3-fold knit pants & safety clasp stays on). So far it’s still sharp & rust resistant after 6 months—I keep them on my knit pants so they get washed with the pants). Easy to store especially when kept together in a string.

The pins are fairly sturdy and sharp. They go through the sheet and blanket easily. The one disappointment I have is that the sheets slip through and wrap around the coil at the bottom of the pin so that sheet fabric is on the back side of the pin. Trying to work it back to the front has not worked for me and the sheet (thrift store find) rips. The other unique problem I've had is that my large dogs are able to mangle these very sturdy pins. I never would have anticipated that this could happen. I've lost two pins to the dogs and one to extracting it from the sheet that got wrapped around the coil. I still would recommend and buy them again for myself. You can't find heavy duty blank pins in stores anymore.
