I needed to hang up two small 6-inch square decorated tiles...and these work perfectly. Very light weight and just a small amount of metal shows on the front with the prongs. Now, other are correct...these prongs are just cut metal, nothing fancy. And it you have a very tender item to hang, you might want to spend more money to get the prongs that have a rubber piece to protect the item. Me...I just plan on putting a small dab of hot glue on each one...it dries clear, and no one will ever see it. I just wanted the lowest cost hangers...and these are perfect. Not sure if I would use for something very heavy as I got the smallest ones...but for my two small tiles, they are perfect.

They worked fine for what I had. However, I did have to buy a small one elsewhere, and I liked that it had rubber/plastic tips so as not to dig into the plate. Suggest you think about that whenever you buy something like this.

I thought they were supposed to come with the plate protectors and more importantly, I thought they were supposed to come with the wall mount. I did not get either. I don’t think the plate protectors are necessarily needed because once I attached the metal plate holders the sharp edges do not touch the plate.

Fits perfectly and holds my mirror securely! Just what I was looking for and for the price, it's one of my good buys from Amazon! Definitely must buy if you are shopping around for a similar item.

I wasn’t able to use this. The spring stretched and it got loosed. I wasn't able to use it for my big plate. Once i put it on my plate to hang on the wall i got so loose it came off almost breaking my plate.

I doubt you could use this on a large plate -very cheaply made but of course didn’t cost much either
