Have used this for about a month and it works great so far! The bowl and spinner insert are fantastic and the bowl has a great gripper on the bottom. This rare construction and materials is worth buying this in my opinion as they could last forever.I have some concerns about the lid. I think the spinning handle mechanism and gears are solid and the lid material seems strong. The clips that keep the lid on seem a bit weak and will probably be what breaks. Working well so far though! Still worth buying overall if you are gentle on the lid. Best spinner I have ever seen.

I am trying to eliminate plastic tools in my kitchen. After searching, this is the only stainless steel salad spinner I have found. Be aware the top part, which initiates the spin and can be used to drain the water is still plastic, but I can control the salad greens so they don't come into contact with it. I wish this part was also stainless steel. This plastic piece is why I didn't give it 5 stars. Only people trying to eliminate plastic contamination for their food would be motivated to pay more for this so it makes sense to eliminate ALL the plastic parts. It does work well and I appreciate that the perforated bowl and the outer bowl, which hold the greens and water are both stainless steel.

This item is junk!The lid doesn’t engage the basket correctly no matter what I do and keeps skipping.Be aware that nighter Amazon nor the seller pay for the return shipping. Also, they try to delay the return so you’d run out of time for returning it. Seller like this should be banned from Amazon

So, I LOVE this spinner because I'm trying to cut plastic out of my food storage and prep. This fits the bill and works wonderfully! It was a little more than I'd wanted to spend, but for a completely stainless steel spinner (except for the lid), it's worth it, since I'll never need to replace it (unless the lid brakes!).

this made my day! finally, an actual stainless steel basket. i have searched high and low, these don’t exist. i am super happy with this purchase. i have seen stainless bowl salad spinners, but never a stainless spinner. even williams sonoma has a spinner for $100+ and the spinner is plastic. please honey. this is a steal for steel. very happy.

My only complaint is the small disk at the bottom of the bowl- makes washing one extra step. Why can’t they just put the point that holds the spinner into the bottom of the bowl? But it’s so much better than my previous plastic spinners, and works very smoothly- I hope this company sells the spinner lids individually, as this it the only part that I can anticipate breaking in the future!

This works great on cold or hot items. My only complaint is that the knob top came off. It was still usable but not as comfortable to use.

Been trying to replace my plastic salad spinner, and this item is EXCELLENT! Sturdy, all parts that are in contact with the food are metal. The only downside is there are about 4 pieces to wash when you’re done with the item, but your health is worth it!
