I lik everything about this product! They fit all the poles I needed them for. I was able to help out other friends in need of a replacement. They are simple and easy to install. They are durable and long lasting. I just finished my first bag since I kept giving them to people in need. I will buy another set. They are excellent!

It replaced one the missing caps for my Black Diamond trekking poles that I purchased 1,600 miles from here. I could not find a local source which makes it even better that it fits.

Due to knee problems I need to use an assistive device. I didn't like the cane I tried. I have several hiking poles but they all have pointy ends. These tips let me convert the poles to something that works inside houses and doesn't scratch floors.

It seemed fine. Fit was good. And, for a little balance when walking, or a minor hike, it could be just fine. However, after a single 5 mile hike above tree line (rocky trail)(new tip) it was already punching the pole's carbide metal tip through the rubber. Probably would fail inspection for hiking in some place like Italy where metal tips are not allowed on some hiking trails (e.g. Cinque Terre). There is a washer inside, which is supposed to protect the pole tip from punching through. But, that washer is soft metal, and it quickly bent through. Since I bought the six-pack of these, I'm adding other small (7/16 inch) washers inside, to see if this prolongs the life of the tip. However, If you are a diligent hiker this isn't the tip for you.

Used 2 of these to replace missing tip and a slick-end tip on walking sticks used for walking stability after surgery. The new ones fit tight and the corrugated surface provides improved traction on the surfaces where I walk.
