7" Electric Radiator Cooling Fan

This fan assembly is designed for both PUSHER and PULLER applications.To change airflow direction from the factory setting,you MUST follow the directions below or performance will be compromised!
Warning: Installation of accessories should only be undertaken by those with mechanical knowledge and are familiar with working on vehicles,Always use eye protection (goggles,safety glasses or shield). Park the vehicle in a well lit area,on level ground and apply the parking brake.Only work on a cold vehicle that has bean sitting overnight, failure to do so will result in severe burns and injury.Before starting the vehicle,make sure no tools or any other items are left under hood that could interfere with or be drawn into moving parts of the engine.
MOUNTING FAN
STEP 1
Take the four mounting feet provided and attach them to the slots on the outside of the fan housing at the desired locations around the perimeter.
Please Note: Tensioner springs included,（not pictured) is optional. For use with mounting rods prior to placing through mounting feet. Tensioner Springs not necessary for mounting fan(s)to radiator.
STEP 2
Position the Fan Assembly against the radiator or air conditioning condenser. Take the four Mounting Rods and carefully install them through the Mounting Feet and then though EITHER the radiator or air conditioning condenser.
Take the four 1 x1 Foam Pads and remove the paper backing.Now installation them(sticky side toward the core) onto the Mounting Rods now protruding through the radiator or air conditioning condenser.
Take the four Mounting Clips supplied and install them onto the Mounting Rods.The mounting Clips can only be used one time,so make sure the Fan Assembly is in the correct location.
Secure Mounting Clips until 1x1 Foam Pads are slightly compressed.Cut off any excess Mounting Rod.
STEP 3
The Electric Fan Assembly can be activated using a Manual Switch or Relay Wiring Kit,For Relay Wiring Kit, Reference the product label on the Electric Fan to determine the Positive(+) and Negative(-) wire colors.
Important:For Puller applications use the referenced wire colors stated.
For Pusher applications the two wires MUST be reversed to change airflow direction.

I bought two of these fans to provide ventilation in a little and somewhat older (2001) travel trailer we recently purchased. Here are some thoughts on the fans and their use in this application:1. Both fans were out of balance as evidenced by vibration at higher speeds. I spent some time balancing them, they each took about 0.6 grams in the right locations, now no vibration at any speed.2. One fan draws about 25% more current than the other. Strange, don’t know why.3. On Full speed (13.4V) they push a LOT of air and not surprisingly they are pretty noisy. For our RV ventilation we will seldom run them this fast unless we are trying to air it out quickly. They run nicely down to at least 6V, and still provide good airflow and are much quieter at lower speeds. That is where we will most commonly use them. I wired the one that I installed today to a small 5-Amp rated DC speed controller and mounted it in a small metal box. It works great!4. I cannot comment on the expected longevity of the fans. They seem fairly well made overall. I did have to trim away little buts of plastic from the molding process but the bearings seem smooth and relatively quiet. Since they are intended for radiator cooling I’m hoping they ar w heavy duty enough to last well in my RV Ventilation application.The 4 star rating instead of 5 stars was for the bits of excess plastic I had to trim and also for being significantly out of balance. That may not matter for radiator cooling but I didn’t want to feel the vibration in the RV. Fortunately balancing them wasn’t too difficult.

My original radiator is only 12 inches and to me it seems to be a little small for my radiator. So I decided to go ahead and order 14". I'm glad I did because the 14 inches fits perfectly and it looks like the fan is made for my radiator.

Perfect fit into factory housing in my 1993 mitsubishi minica kei car. Once I shaved a little plastic from the sides & drilled 4 holes to secure fan to housing. Attached wires to original factory clip. I also found the wire from fan are directional. Mount the the turn on fan pushes air reverse the wiring and it pulls air... Very happy works better than OE fan & way less expensive. Thanks VCD.

Haven't used this fan yet. It is for a project I am working on. Looks good, the box arrived with damage and the fan is unprotected in the box but I could find no damage to the fan itself.

Good for the money but is not very strong good enough for small CFM applications. MIGHT BE BETTER OFF with 2 smaller rather than 1 big fan. So far works good very quiet.

Perfect.no need to put extra relay, connected to the other auxiliary fan. Once AC is on, boom! Lot of help to increase the AC coolness.
