This will be used to remove most of the old/cracked stucco from the outside concrete walls of my basement. Sandpaper will be used to remove everything left over and make it smooth for refinishing with something else. Not sure what we will be putting back on the concrete walls but it will not be stucco again.After doing a small test area with this PCD Cup Wheel, I can report that this works great for what I'm doing. Removes that old stucco like a champ. Pretty sure I will be able to do all 450 square feet (or so) with this one wheel without any issues and judging by how easy the old stucco is coming off, I don't doubt that this wheel will still have plenty of life left in it for plenty of other things. They don't say exactly what the cutting edges are made of but it's plenty strong and the body of the wheel is thick and heavy duty. The threads are clean and fit perfect on my angle grinder. There are a few spots where an angle grinder won't reach but I have several different 5/8-11 arbors for my drills and am confidant they will work well too.While this isn't that much less expensive than the name brand versions of this I still think any money saved is a good thing and makes this a bit of a bargain. I'm glad I got this.

This is a really big, heavy piece of diamond-studded steel. It comes in a nice box as though for gift wrapping.I don't at the moment have anything that I want to tear the hell out of, but I'm confident this will find uses.I didn't have any idea what PCD is, so I searched online and found this important information:---------"PCD cup wheels are manufactured with premium polycrystalline diamonds, thus the name PCD. While these grinding discs are very wear-resistant, they are not impact-resistant. To guarantee a long lifespan ... it's imperative that you avoid joints, bolts, and anything made out of steel."

Are use this to shape a more conforming seat into a wood bench. It worked well and didn’t gum up fast.

I have a job with a LOT of thinset to remove. Seriously, whoever installed this stuff was using over an inch of mortar/"thinset" in many places and I have to remove it all. I had been using a 7" grinder with dual row diamond planarizing action and decided to try this PCD material remover. With this wheel my 5" grinder was able to remove more material than my 7" grinder!!! Of course now I've ordered myself a 7" PCD wheel too. If you need fast material removal, it's worth getting to know these wheels!

This is a very well made and heavy tool. It goes on your grinder no problem. Once on the grinder it really takes off a ton of material in a short amount of time. It can cut your job time down by quite a bit. It even comes in a nice little box that you can store it in.
