The installation was easy. Buying the correct size was not. Initially, the lamp came with 6" harp which would not accommodate a 60 watt bulb. I wanted to be able to use a 60 watt bulb so I bought the 7" harp. But that too wasn't big enough for a 60 watt bulb because it was only 1/2 inch larger than the 6" that the lamp came with. Ultimately, I returned the 7" and bought the 8" which is working fine and it accommodates a 60watt bulb.

I needed what I thought was a 6" lamp harp. I ordered this and was looking forward to solving my lamp harp problem. Too tall? Too short? Turns out this was too short, and even though it was wonderful quality, it did not work for my purposes. It is not the fault of the harp. The harp itself is good quality and sturdy. It's just a wee too short for my lamp and a regular household light bulb. I exchanged the bulb for a smaller one and it was okay...but still too short for my lamp. Measure twice. Order once!
