These are nice heavy finials. The threads match the threads on the harp like the originals. These are attractive and the brass matches the brass of my lamp and because it is not plated, I don't worry that it will discolor or peel. Great price and great quality.

I am in someone's guest room and I kept knocking the shade off the lamp when I reached up to turn the lamp off. This finial fits perfectly, matches the brass perfectly, and solves an irritating problem. If the grandkids take the finial off again, we've still got an extra one. I am pleased with this purchase.Update: Comment about the size of the finial: For everyone who said "It's too small" I am amazed that no one looked at the size 1" by 1". As I said in my review, it is perfect for the lamp on which it was intended to be used. If you want something larger, consider not buying this as it is small but perfect for the use intended.
