We have a 30+ year old Sub Zero and I dreaded making a service call. I checked out Amazon, found this switch and then went on YouTube where I found a short video on how to install it. The whole project took a little more than 5 minutes. My fridge is fixed and my wallet wasn't drained. I couldn't be happier! I have to admit, the other Amazon reviews for this helped me determine that this was the part I needed and that I could do the job myself. Thanks to the whole Amazon community!

Our fridge light went out in our Sub Zero 532, which is a pretty old model. We could tell it was the switch rather than the light because jiggling the switch would turn on the light.This replacement worked perfectly for us, and it was fairly easy to install. I imagine these switches are pretty universal.There are actually 2 switches behind each door, so make sure you are replacing the correct one. This is for the fridge light, which means it turns on when the door is open. Do not confuse this for a switch for the compressor that only turns on when the door is closed.
