This worked better than expected! I had to remove two broken studs out of the manifold. They were both broken at the base. I was very nervous not to drill through the water jacket located behind the stud. With the special drill tool this was not a problem.

The drill bushing are soft. This allows the flutes on the drill to cut the drill bushing, making it possible to drill off center or at an angle. If it were not for this then this would be a good product.

Nice template material, mounting hardware works great to center the template on the cylinder head, but the guides for the drill bits that insert into the template are too soft and allow the drill bit to walk off center. This happened on the 1/8 and 3/16 drill guide. I ended up using the drill guides from my Ford kit (from another brand) to finish the job on the Hemi. The key to using these templates is to drill the bolt slow and steady taking the time to remove the chips from the hole and oil the drill bit. If you take your time and keep the drill RPM low as recommended in the instructions you will get the desired results. If you plan to drill out the broken bolts with the head still on the engine in the vehicle you will need a right angle drill that can keep the RPM under 700.

All i can say it works... And saves you for a serious head ache if your exhaust bolt broke and get stuck

This kit is complete garbage. All the bits broke on first use. One of the bushings was too small for the bit to even fit in and bit broke inside of it when trying to drill it out.
