One of those tools that's what you need when you need it. You may not use it often but when you need to smooth a rough edge in a tight space, there's not much better.I particularly like this tool being compact and cordless. I have an older corded version that has more power but it's weight and the constant pull of the cord make it awkward to guide doing tight jobs like trying to clean the inside corner of a painted, wooden box without damaging the wood. A small lightweight tools is much easier to wield. The tool itself is compact and lightweight but sacrifices power to achieve this. You won't be grinding off bolt heads with it but it will polish and smooth like a champ. There are five speeds that allow enough force to remove rust or reshape wood without the tool bogging down. I used the tool to grind down the inside lid of a small wooden box that had warped and was binding when opening and closing. With just a little effort it's working like new.The accessories that come with this tool seem to be about average quality but are of great variety and types. The 150 accessory pieces alone are almost worth the price of the kit. They include the usual supply of grinding and cutting discs along with a variety of polishing pads. A note of caution is to not try to use too much force against these small accessories. They are prone to unraveling or self destruction when they shred at high speed. Slow and steady wins the race. There are additional accessories included like the etching tool and 16 painting/tracing templates, that are often associated with crafts and tasks where a mini grinder might come into play. The templates would be great for tracing onto different crafts to be hand painted for a unique touch. For the price, overall quality and utility of this set, I have been very pleased.

I had a small job to trim a small metal handle. The Gyfent cordless rotary tool was the perfect tool for the job. I have a name brand corded rotary tool that would also have worked, but this battery powered tool had more than enough power to cut, shape, and finish my job. I appreciate that four collets were included with the kit. I had to change to the largest one to fit the bits with the largest shanks. I did have to use a wrench to tighten the collet for a secure hold on the bits. The spindle locking button feels a little weak, so I was trying to use the minimum force to hold the bits securely. The case is nicely molded and full of bits that you will want to upgrade over time.Using the tool was easy. Without the cord, there's no cumbersome pull or worry that you'll get tangled. The included bits are light and don't compare to the name brand accessories that I have with my other kit. They did get my job done and are an acceptable beginner's kit for light hobby or DIY tasks. Controlling the on/off and speed is easy with the three buttons and LED speed indicators. Torque was acceptable for a cordless tool, but it's less capable than a corded version. The 3 LEDs at the working end of the tool did help with visibility at the tool tip. USB C charging is appreciated. I recommend this tool with the understanding that I'll need to upgrade the bits over time.

Gyfent 7.2 Volt Cordless Rotary Tool Kit...:My first rotary tool was used with a sanding drum with an attachment to shape worn hammers in a piano. It could remove material fast and required dexterity to avoid removing too much material and maintaining an even cut. But that was long ago. These days, I especially like the cutting wheels for plastic and metals when I'm in maker-mode.Carving was my father's passion and he used his tools a lot. He had single speed and variable speed, all corded, and lots of accessories and attachments. With the templates included with this rotary set, I may attempt some carving myself.***So, here we have a rotary tool, battery operated and rechargeable, with many, many accessories including sanding drums and wheels, cut off wheels, carving bits, grinding stones, buffing pads, saw blades, and more such as 4 collets, a scribe and two packages of templates (4 are alphabet/numerals). One bristle brush is included called an 'End Brush'.The tool has 5 speeds. Top speed is 28000 rpm while bottom speed is 8000 rpm based on printed specifications. Intermediate speeds are not listed. My math suggests an increase of 5000 rpm per setting if the increments are equal.*Especially appreciated by me is the 3-LED headlight, the variable speed and the battery operation.*I don't know if aftermarket attachments will fit this tool.Online videos are my 'go-to' for learning and I have my choice from hundreds, maybe thousands, of videos showing and describing the functions of the accessories, application techniques, and possible attachment add-ons.

I am honestly very surprised by the quality of this cordless rotary tool and all that you get with it too! I have been a Dremel user for 40+ years and have had the same corded one all this time. A rotary tool is something that might feel you really don't need, until you need it. My dremel has helped me so many times fix things, polish things, cut small things etc. Now this cordless one is even better! I wanted a cordless Dremel forever, but then saw this one and at this price point, and all you get in the package, it's just as good as the Dremel brand one that's far more expensive. The dremel might be more powerful, but I'm not sure and haven't compared side by side. But this one is powerful enough as far as I can tell so far. The quality is great too.
