This is one of the best items that I have purchased 😃. I had an event for 300 people to attend and they wanted sliced ham this meat slicer did an outstanding job with the task at hand. I love 💘 the size, ease of slicing and cleaning and an outstanding value for the money 💰.

The blade is fully exposed so as soon as you move past the sharp edge the meat gets pushed out of place by the rotating center of the disc. Need to put it back in place for every single slice.It is not sharp/fast enough to cut through bacon. Tried different hardness of meat and it was just a mess of uneven cuts and not a full slice.

For economic lunch meat Slicing is a bargain for the cost and I very happy with it. 4 stars only because it can't handle anything less than 4mm slicing. Because the metal it was built with is to flimsy.

First thing i noticed, it was a pain to get out of the box. The slide was not secure and it kept moving back and forth. The blade guard on the installed blade had also fallen off.Of course it was greasy and covered in dust right out of the box. The directions dont tell you how to take the blade off, so i took the screws out, then figured out you just turn the plactic center.I tried cutting bologna first, set the blade to 3 and realized 3 is larger then the store bought size.My hands were greasy from the meat and I noticed I had to push harder when sliding or it wouldn't cut a full slice. After awhile the deli chunk was just getting stuck to the blade instead of sliding back. So turning it on/off every couple of passes got tiring real fast. When slicing the front of the slice was perfect but the 2nd half got thicker because i had to push the meat across.I cleaned the machine, which is not very fun. There is no type of handle and the slide does not lock (you can take the whole slide off though). You cant get the base wet, so it was really difficult to clean all the grease off. There is a small area where food/water can get into the base, so this will be a future problem.I cut a block of Cabot cheese next, it worked perfectly. I could make very thin slices.The base has suction cup legs bitnit still moved around and there is no good place to hold the slicer while you are using it.The majority of the slicer is plastic so it will probably crack in the future. I bought the extra 3 year warranty through Amazon just because of the other reviews said it stops working after using a few times.Thickest setting for cutting is about 1/2 inch

Have a smaller version of this 1. I believe is a rebox. Tray is banged up. But machine is great i like to prepare allot my own meats
