These seem to be very well made. The writing on them is easy to read.Maybe a bit expensive for what they are. But I knew that ahead of time and I bought them anyway

I hope my RAS-47 doesn’t blow up in my face. Hope this will give me the warning I need to know if my chamber is no longer safe.

I’ve used these to build several AKs off of parts kits and these work great. I specifically bought them because i wanted Eastern European spec gauges for my Eastern European parts kits. The Go is very tight in my factory import zastava and American made PSA AK (bolts won’t close on it w/o force), which tells me that the go is a little looser than what ever gauge they used to build them. When I use these to build AKs with, I press the barrel in untill barely doesn’t close, on the Go gauge. Then verify with an in-spec dummy round or live round to make sure it’ll feed. (be sure you’re firing pin is out. Which, you bolt should be stripped anyway if your headspacing a barrel..)

Not much to be said about a product like this. It does what it's supposed to do, it is well made, and my gun hasn't blown up.

Used for a build. While using an actual live round will create a tighter tolerance than using the GO gauge, however its a good start. If your bolt can BARELY close with the GO gauge, you will have a nice tight tolerance. Triple check headspace with live rounds (firing pin removed) to verify amongst various brands of rounds.
