I needed to replace a few double-pane windows that had lost the internal seal. The cost of the glass is high enough, but the installation charge more than doubled that. I got this set so I could replace the panes myself. The 8-inch diameter is good for larger panes, and I like the gauge that lets you know when you’ve got enough suction to lift. You can easily release the cups by pressing the levers on the handle.They seem of high quality, and the set comes with a nice storage case and a few spare parts for the air piston. I’ve not replaced my windows yet, but I have attached these to an existing pane…I was very impressed with the holding power. I simply couldn’t pull it off! My only suggestion would be to move the gauge to the left side of the pump handle with the thumb pump on top. That way you can see it while pumping with your right thumb. As it is, the gauge is upside down while pumping.

Got these for when I change my windshield in my truck. Testes on a glass pain I have as a spare for one of my windows. These held strong and didn't slip. Based on the test I should have no problems when I get the windshield and go to install it.
