Works great decent price. Like how it shuts off when fully sealed then auto restarts again

This thing looked like a marketing BS to me but I caved in after doing a huge bathroom remodel. Everyone wants large format tiles these days which need to be back buttered with thinset. Yeah it’s easy enough to do with one hand holding the tile and that’s how I’ve done them for awhile but when I remember to use this extra grip it makes tiling so much easier. I would highly recommend this for anyone doing their first large format tile job. It’ll make you life so much easier. As far as using it for sheet goods yeah it kinda works but if you’re moving sheet goods for a living then you already know how to move them and this isn’t going to make your life easier. As a builder, I really would only recommend this for tile or small glass/glazing setting.

I am using this for 24" x 24" 3/4" thick porcelain tiles. 40 pounds each and with a textured surface. It pumps up to pressure quickly which was a concern of mine.I purchased it based on the YouTube videos. Those videos were impressive and as far as I can tell were spot on.I am just a home owner and not a contractor.

We got our first Garbo couple years ago, came with 2 batteries and an extra seal. This time, unlike what it shows in the photo no extra seal and no extra batteries. Disappointed, will never use this vendor again.

Works well, but EXPENSIVE. Non porous surfaces work great, and the unit only runs occasionally. More porous, unit runs often or even continuously, but that is to be expected. Does make lifting items easier.

This thing is all the rage in social media, and as a person with arthritis I was looking forward to a better lift-assist tool than the old-school rope or lifting-handle options. For the record I don't work with pavers or tile much. I mostly handle plywood and drywall, but the ads and videos seem to suggest those should be within this device's abilities. It seems to run and grab well initially, but the suction doesn't hold. I just tested a piece of 23/32 Advantech subfloor (78lbs). I chose the advantech not only because I was working with it but also I thought it would be a more fair test. Things like OSB are notoriously porous so I never expected this would work well on them. But Advantech has a coating on it that I thought would let this thing hold its suction.I was able to lift sheets off the pile but actually carrying them, it would slip. I tried giving it longer (20 seconds) to get full suction in case that was it, but it would still slip.I'm keeping this because I can see how useful it will be for tile and pavers. But for plywood, OSB, and (not sure) maybe sheet rock, I'm back to old-school methods.

I bought this exclusively for landscaping it is not able to take the smallest piece don't know how they staged the photo on the box, clearly seems like false advertising. The surface of cement, unless very polished will be too porous for this kind of suction to ever work.

This is a good product, works very well, we use them when installing insulated metal panel; however, they don't last a long time.. We've had to buy new ones a few times. But when they work, they work great.
