UPDATED REVIEW: 10/2024 I received bad rope burns from trying to restrain my dogs during a couple of incidents where they lunged while using this leash. It's imposable to keep ahold of if your dog wishes to take off. If that is something you need to deal with then use a different leash. They are in head harnesses, which usually keep them restrained during incidents but due to not being able to keep a grip on this leash they were able to go for it.My landlord had to put some leash rules in place. Dogs must be on a leash no longer than 8ft.I have 2 German shepherd/nordic breed mixes. This works perfectly to give them the space to use the restroom independent of each other but giving me one point to keep ahold of. I do find the handle to be a bit bulky and would prefer something slimmer. This leash seems durable enough to control my 2 130lb dogs. The connections are strong and I like that I can detach the leash portion and use it as a tie out or on my hands free lead if needed.I read reviews about it being too long and the dogs getting tangled. That can happen, but can happen at any length. For me, it's important to give my dogs the ability to move without being hindered by the other. So having those split leads with only 3ft of leash wasn't an option. Basically, this works great for allowing your dog's freedom of movement while giving the handler only one control point to keep hold of.I would recommend this and it's worked out great for us!

I gave this 5 stars because it’s a good quality leash, however it’s extremely long so it keeps getting tangled in my dogs legs when they walk.

My curious, unruly yorkie mix dogs go every which-way and I get tangled up in the leashes. LOL! There's probably not a leash that would not cause that with my dogs. However, there's nothing wrong with the product as it is well made.

I would have kept it, but 8 ft is just too long to walk 2 dogs. If they would make a 5 or 6ft, I would buy it again

I read somewhere that eight feet was a great length for dogs. This setup for me and my dogs however was way too long with a thin flimsy rope that easily gets twisted up. It’s all plain rope so grabbing it to get better hold or shorten it just leads to skin burn. But alas I forgot to return it in the right window. So now sometimes when it’s quiet and not many people are out walking, I can use it to let my dogs have a very long 8’ leash of sniffing freedom.

I bought these after buying shorter double leads. I have big dogs so that didn’t work out well. These give my dogs a lot more freedom when I am walking them together! And you can also detach them from the leash and use one at a time, which is nice for a leash extender! My dogs also get tangled up sometimes but they figure out pretty quickly how to untangle.

Good luck walking 2 dogs on this leash!Who, exactly, came up with this abomination??? I have to admit, I was half asleep and half drunk when I ordered this thing by mistake. And I have to say that this was a bigger mistake than having unprotected sex in high school.I am willing to bet money that the person who came up with this product design either does not have 2 dogs or has no idea what a dog is what it do.Judging by materials used, you are supposed to walk 2 medium-to-large dogs on this leash. WHO THE HELL WOULD LET TWO LARGE DOGS ON TWO SEPARATE LEASHES WANDER AROUND 8ft AWAY FROM THEM??? I mean, if you want to fall on your face tangled in 2 claiming ropes, lose a limb or get dragged by 2 dogs 10-15 feet, buy this! But if you don't, this is not the product for you. Also, imaging wrapping up one leash around your hand to pull your dog close? Now imagine two leashes.Stupid product is stupid. Don't buy this non-sense.
