A flange nut is a nut with a wide flange at one end and can be used as an integrated non-rotating washer.
This is used to distribute the pressure of the nut on the parts to be fixed, thereby reducing the chance of damage to the parts and reducing the possibility of loosening of the parts due to uneven fastening surfaces.
The flange can be serrated to provide a locking effect. The serrations are angled to prevent the nut from rotating in the direction of loosening the nut.
Because of their serrations, they cannot be used with washing machines, nor can they be used on surfaces that cannot be scratched. The serration helps to avoid vibration of the nut and increase the retention of the nut.
Fine thread pitch: 1.25mm is made of 304 stainless steel, with strength and good corrosion resistance. Used in many applications in the home, farm, business, automotive and industrial fields.---The video in the picture is a real product taken by me.

Perfect for my Cars wiper arms, My wiper arms were in need of painting, I removed and repainted them and replaced with these nuts because the original nuts were rusted. Correct size for many GM vehicles including my 09 Pontiac G8 GT.

I have looked high and low at stores for these nuts in m10x1.25 and couldn't find them anywhere, for the rear sprocket on my motorcycle. Online dealers want close to $50+. Not only do these look great they fit perfectly. Couldn't be happier!!!!

The OE Nissan exhaust manifold nuts are flanged but non-serrated. While they’re fine on the OE cast iron exhaust manifolds, they tend to loosen up with aftermarket long tube headers. These stainless steel serrated nuts takes care of that problem and avoids exhaust leaks which can lead to DTCs.Great price and and great quality. Also not easy to find M10 serrated nuts with 1.25 threads at local automotive and hardware stores.

Fits perfectly in my Ryobi RYAC130 mower. I couldn't find the part at Home Depot so had to order online. Didn't need 8 pieces but for $6 it's nice to have spare ones.
