Perfect for the chickens and will work on round buckets if you’re wondering.

Chickens started throwing feed and this idea made sense to stop them. Considering the current price of PVC this was the cheaper option to making something like it.Three stars (*see last paragraph) for the idea and it does function but it’s cheaply made. Still it should hold up for a while. The lock ring threads can strip when tightening and the small diameter o-ring can deform. If you tighten it finger tight it does not seal well so bugs and water could contaminate the feed. The fix will be food grade silicone sealant. So yes, it will work with some modification. There are similar ones with gaskets instead of o-rings on Amazon that may work better. Also the instructions aren’t great. Suggest drilling the holes 3†from the bottom, put the drill bit of the hole saw at the 3†mark. Looked like the lowest point they could be placed.“Updatedâ€â€¦Customer service is very good. The company read this review, contacted me, said they appreciated the input and they’re looking into it. They want to make things right. For that *Four stars.

I put 4 around a 5 gallon bucket and the chicken love eating from it. It seem to work ok as far as not letting them scatter their feed all over the ground. We put a pizza pan under the bucket it made cleanup a breeze. Worth while…

Adaptability is awesome used 4in pvc end cap drilled hole in one cap screwed in the feeder attachment, attached the end cap with a screw to a a sweeping 90degree pvcBut not all my chickens like eating from the dispenser, the fancy combed and wattled rooster is not satisfied about the new system..
