These were very easy to install and stick very well to the carpet. I had to do a readjustment to the position a few minutes after we put them down. They were already stuck pretty good to my luxury vinyl laminate flooring. The adhesion to the carpet started to pull away as I started to lift from floor. But it easily went back on, the floor was clean with no sticky residue. I will reserve judgement for a few weeks on how well the adhesion stays. But so far, so good!

TL;DR: vacuum your rug before application (yes, vacuum the bottom) and make sure you don't accidently peel off the adhesive. Do those things and your rug will not budge.---I am fostering a young cat, and like many young cats, she is *rambunctious*. Every day at 3am she will run from one side of my apartment to the other, taking particular pleasure in sliding across the floor on one of my entryway rugs. She loves making hills and valleys in this rug and I was convinced she was going to kill me one day. Homicide via bunched rug. *sigh* Cats.I rent an apartment and I wanted a solution which would not damage my floors but would stop the endless shifting, bunching, and flipping (yes, flipping) of this rug.So I gave these a shot, put two down as a test, and they didn't work. At all. They did not grip the rug, they just collected cat hair and were yet another thing on my floor. BUT, to the floor, they did stick. The only issue was the rug. Disheartened, I left them there for two weeks because it's quarantine and no one was entering my apartment to judge me.Finally, one day I went to clean them off the floor and write this review when I noticed that the film I had pulled off of the rubbery part was oddly thick. Then it clicked.I had pulled off the sticky part that sticks to the rug.Excited, I rushed to the kitchen and washed the rubber parts. They cleaned up nicely, as promised, and regained an insane amount of stickiness as soon as they dried. While they dried, I made sure to vacuum the rug to decrease the overall amount of cat hair (a losing but valiant battle). I replaced the film and was careful to only remove the waxy paper this time. I applied them to the corners of the rug first (again, to decrease the opportunity for cat hair to invade again) and put the rug down.It was crooked.I tried to reposition it and it was SOLID. I carefully lifted up the corners by the pads (I did not want to mess up the rug adhesive this time) and after some effort got it straight where I wanted it to be.It's been a couple weeks now and I've made the cat run many laps over the rug (and heard her training on her own in the wee hours of the morning. The rug has not budged. This product is great.(my only complaint is it is a little thick, if you have a thin rug you will definitely be able to feel the pads in the corners, but I don't mind)

These really do stick to the floor and that side of the adhesive can be washed and reused. However the side that sticks to the carpet doesn't stick so well. When you attempt to remove them from the floor, they stick to the floor but pull off of the rug. You might be able to get it to stick to the rug again and put back down but it is iffy and for sure won't work after lifting again. Only half the problem is solved. Unfortunately they don't work if they don't stick to the floor and the rug. So, they will work really well as long as you never try to move or pick up the rug.

Easy to use. Worked x 3 months. Tried to “just wash with soap and water to renew grippersâ€. Don’t know what kind of soap the manufacturer uses, but dish detergent and lots of washing did NOT remove the carpet fuzz. There is no way this is reusable. It will never reattach to the rug.

Bought a new area rug that came all rolled up. The corners were curled up and wouldn’t relax. These little corner grips are perfect for the job. Very happy with how they’re holding the rug in place and helping with the corner issue.

It sticks fine to the floor. Not so well to the carpet. I have a runner in my kitchen area and have to adjust like 3 times a day. Not good.

I bought some throw rugs for the bathroom not realizing they did not have a gripping back to them so needed something I could remove for washing the rugs and these are perfect. Rugs stay put and I’m safer now. Great price for a great product. I only needed two for each rug on opposite corners to make them stable. Used on a throw rug by the front door also!

These rug grippers work, they really do, but here's the HUGE lie they're telling. YES, you CAN rinse and restick these grippers. What you CAN'T do, is EVER take them off your rug. Like EVER. If you want to put them on a new rug, FORGET IT. If you want to wash your rug, FORGET IT. Any attempt at removing these rug grippers from the carpet or rug will ruin them for any further use. If you have a pile style rug that you steam clean instead of a soft rug you throw in the wash, these would be perfect. They were a total waste of money for my use.
