This 24 volt coil relay fulfilled my needs for a means to utilize a standard 17 volt doorbell circuit (at the “bell†unit in the center of my house) to trigger a 3 volt wireless doorbell button/transmitter so that the wireless doorbell would “ring†in 2 additional locations (my workshop and my back porch).This (rated) 24 volt relay coil was able to be energized by the 17 volt doorbell circuit. (Earlier I had tried to use a 12 volt relay, but the 17 volt input was too much for it.) And then one of the 2 DPDT sets of contacts was wired to act in place of the wireless doorbell’s push button switch (a low power 3 volt transmitter circuit) to activate that system.These relays come with a short section of DIN rail for mounting them into your control panel. The black plastic mounts are designed to allow easy wiring screw attachment to the various connections on the relay (coil and DPDT). The relay itself is designed to be plugged into the plastic mounts - making all 8 of the connections at once - for quick installation or replacement if necessary.I chose to use spade/lug type connectors crimped to my connecting wires and not to use either the DIN rail nor the black plastic mount because of the small size of the plastic circuit box I used to hold both the relay and the wireless transmitter circuit board. I am very pleased with the results of this project since I can now be alerted to the presence of a visitor when they press my doorbell button regardless of whether I am in my house, workshop, or back porch/deck area … thanks to this little relay!

My cannular canner was stuck on ON, it's one of the automatic seamers. It would just continuously cycle through the seaming process... Well turns out the issue was THIS relay that had fried. So I bought it here for WAY cheaper than my local electronics store wanted and problem solved.

Each load side is isolated, but triggered (or each NC and NO pins flipped) by a single coil being powered.

As a retired elevator mechanic I worked with relay all my life. These relays are meant for light use. They made compact by not having a normal 4pole lineup for the wires so make sure you pay attention to where you put the wires. I used it for Building a switching array for my Reto arcade joy sticks and buttons. I rate them a 5 out of 10.

8 Pin-10A AC 24V Electromagnetic Power Relay with Socket Base and Slotted Aluminum Rail. Ordered twice both times the socket base l was not included. The relays and rails appeared in good condition. I did not test the relays prior to returning them as they were returned as received.
