Pretty color, flimsy (easy to bend) but durable (doesn't break)... if you need a vibrant colored twist tie, I love the rose red

Used to be that when you purchased plastic bags (like sandwich bags), they all came with twist-ties. I collected these for years, using them to replace the plastic clips on bread bags, to seal up bags of chips, etc. - anything that was in a plastic bag that needed to be sealed to stay fresh got one of theee. Sadly, most of the bags I’ve been buying for the last few decades have been zipper bags, so my supply of twist-ties has slowly been dwindling.I was very happy to find these twist-ties on Amazon! Unfortunately, they’re a lot thinner than the ones that came with sandwich bags, and use a thinner wire as you might be able to see in the attached pic (the twist-tie in the middle is this product - the other two are ones that came in packages of plastic bags). So, are a lot less sturdy than the ones that I’ve been using (and reusing) for a long time - probably not as suitable for use on heavy cellophane chip bags, and not for reusing more than once or twice. Oh well, at least there’s such a large quantity in the bag that they’ll last a long time even if I only get one use out of each one…

This is a great buy for how many you get! I do a lot of gift baskets and these allow me to cinch the top of the plastic by myself so that I can shrink the bags. They hold well. I like the silver color because it still looks nice if it's seen with the bow.

These are good. It seems you sometimes need a twist for closing up something and these are good.
