I bought these molly bolts for a project I was working on and they worked great! I only had 2 studs to hang a 107 lbs tv, just the 4 bolts in 2 studs were not enough so I added 12 of these bad boys and it worked !!also used them to hang 3 other full size mirrors with metal frames

I read the reviews that said they were cheap and flimsy but thought I'd give it a shot anyways. I didn't want to drive to the hardware store. The spikes that are supposed to hold them in place flattened when I turned the screw with a handheld screwdriver. So the whole thing just spun. I tried to be extra careful. I took it out and used a toggle bolt instead which worked fine. returning

The bigbones twisted like a barber pole, with an undersized hand screwdriver, into predrilled holes. Metal is way too soft unlike American made ones that can even be hammered in.

Complete garbage. The plug either bent on being inserted into the wall, or didn’t expand behind the drywall. The grab function on the surface is very shallow, so sometimes the plug would just spin in the drywall. For others, the screw thread wouldn't grip at all, or it would only partially grip which meant that you couldn’t screw tight to the wall. And if these screws aren’t tight to the wall, they don’t work. Having tried to use about 30 of these, I could only get 7 of them to work. The rest of the pack I threw straight in the garbage out of frustration and acceptance that I’d been ripped off. Do not buy. They are flimsy and cheaply made. I wouldn’t trust them to hold anything up for long (if you get them to work).
