This fit our wolf range hood fan perfectly. No issues at all installing and the fitment is tight and locks up properly. I've listed some photos to show the difference between this knob and the factory knob that came with the hood fan.The knob that was purchased here and replaced is the one for the lights. The fan knob is original.If you are examining the hole on the back side of your original knob versus what is illustrated by the manufacturer here on Amazon, you will notice there is a slight difference in the shape of the hole opening. Rest assured I experienced this as well however it did not impact the proper fitment of the knob to the fan unit.My recommendation would be to purchase the 2 pack so you have a spare to replace the other original knob when it eventually breaks.

I bought this as a gag gift for a friend that likes Sub-Zero Wolf products, it was super small and made of cheap plastic, not the metal that the originals are made of. He threw it out. Steer clear if you are looking for a quality product to fit your vent hood.

Somehow my wife broke both knobs off our Wolf Hood—but when you inspect the knobs, they are made of a chincey plastic. These replacement knobs are ridiculously expensive for what they are. I bought a couple from two different sites on Amazon to see if they fit differently—and surprise, they did. I can’t recall which one fit better now unfortunately. Just be sure to inspect the teeth where it grips the “semi-cylinder†bolt hanging from the hood where this attaches. I had to use super glue on one knob.

It fits my Wolf hood perfectly. Just installed it so not sure about longevity.It is also ridiculously priced. This part takes the manufacturer cents to produce. I get that it’s a slow selling item and shipping etc need to be factored in. However, paying $18 for two tiny plastic knobs feels ridiculous. This is of course enabled by Wolf trying to be even more outrageous by wanting to charge $50 for these.

Simple molded plastic that should not cost much more than a dollar to manufacturer. I might be wrong on the strength; but item appears to be a simple molded plastic material that, although stronger than the original product, does look to be subject to wear and breakage. The breakage of this vent knob is just the latest on a long list of disappointing items on a Wolf / SubZero kitchen that is now five years old. If I ever again remodel or build; I will find a different appliance product line.
