Put it on the manifold and it wouldn’t work, has to go to Napa to get one that actually would work.

72' Ford 2000 3cyl diesel, bought new cluster went through everything. Old temp sender was bad got this one as a replacement it fit so I hooked it up still nothing on the gauge. Well tried ohming everything out checking powers and grounds found nothing wrong... Bought another temp sender and compared the ohm values; this one was way out in left field. Might work on different 2000's but didn't work in my experience.

Does not fit the Ford 3000 that I have . Not worth the headache to send it back . The sending unit is to small .
