I know everyone say run gm glow plugs but I'd have to say my duramax never stared better with this brand glow plug an you can't beet the price compared to GM .

If you live in a cold state like MN these suck. Do not buy these if you live in a cold climate. Pulling these out and going back to AC Delco.

I had one glow plug causing a check engine light on #1 cylinder of my 2006 Duramax. I ordered and entire set figuring that at 230k miles it was the wise move to make. I had to wait to install them so the return period was over when I installed them. I installed the 4 right bank glow plugs first, then when I open the next 4 glow plugs, one was not like the other 8. I went ahead and installed the three glow plugs that fit. After I cleared the previous DTC code for the #1 cylinder, I started the truck. IMMEDIATELY, I had DTC fail codes on # 2, 4, 5, & 8 cylinders!!! I cleared the codes again, same result! I reinstalled my old GM glow plugs in those cylinders and now have no codes. So out of 8 glow plugs, only 3 were good. I expect to have to replace the remaining 3 soon as well. Lots of wasted time! Lesson learned.

They fit as expected. The threads on two of them stripped during installation. I had a light on for glowplus. Replaced with these because they were cheap. They did not fix the issue.
