1- When drilling, test drilling should be carried out at the planned opening position first. After the small dent positioning point is formed at the opening position, the formal drilling can be carried out. This method can ensure the accuracy of drilling and avoid damaging the object being drilled.
2- Install wood screws as much as possible, make sure they are in the center of the hole, so as not to over-shift and cause the decorative cap to fail to cover the hole.
3- Before installing the wood screw, you need to put the washer on the screw. When the gasket is close to brittle and fragile materials such as mirror glass, do not tighten it too tightly to avoid damage to the mirror glass due to thermal expansion and contraction in the later period.

Easy to install. Beats filling it in with wood inserts, no countersink needed. Color is a bit off from photo, it’s more brassy than black but worked for me. Photos are “before†I put the shelf up.

We own a vintage Avion travel trailer with twin beds that have upholstered head and side boards. This is for both comfort and sound deadening. I recovered them with new foam and fabric but needed something to remount them to the walls. I did not want to see screw heads but had to use screws in case we needed to remove one of the headboards to access the shower valve on the other side of that wall. These worked perfectly! The decorative cap actually screws onto the screw washer and it looks very nice! Thank you for a fantastic product!

A+ for looks and quality, finish and color - YES! All the threaded parts very well-machined and to close tolerance. I used these fasteners to put leather pull straps on all sides of a (beloved) old hassock, to aid in moving it about, and everything blends together beautifully. Looks as though they've been together always. That hassock looks top drawer! Great purchase.

A decent product but for what I needed but would have been better if the dome was bigger.But it did the job.
