At a cost much less that the name brand trekking pole tips these work great. They are just soft enough to provide good traction yet wear extremely well. They fit my LEKI poles snugly and show minimal wear after 15 miles on asphalt and 10 miles on a sandy woods trail. Even if they only last 30 miles, the value is there since you get 4 sets.

Great price for hard rubber pole tips. As my "trekking" poles are used for everyday walking and balance, I wear out the Tips frequently. These tips fit the standard trekking pole well, provide grip for a variety of surfaces, being black - there's no marks on boats or hard surface floors, and they last about 6 months! Great Value!

Compared to my black diamond and Leki tips these are very noisy. They also do not absorb shocks on hard surfaces as well as a soft tip would. Otherwise a great fit and product.

We were looking for Trekking / Hiking Pole Replacement Tips and came across these on Amazon. Based on our recent use, they seem to be very good quality, durable, and fit our trekking poles perfectly. I highly recommend using these as a Protection Cover even when not in use. As you know the metal tips of these poles are sharp and can puncture a hole in your travel bag, car upholstery, etc., so these will really help to ensure that does not happen. I've been walking most morning for the past 25 years with a wooden walking stick as my "partner" and it was finally showing its age. A bit of sandpaper and paint helped solve most of its aging, but the bottom tip was beat up, loose and worn. I checked around for a crutch tip, but they were all too big and fell off too easily. So, I looked at Amazon, and found what I needed right away. The trick was I needed 1/2" tips, and Amazon had a few to choose from. I chose the tallest ones with the thickest "foot" or bottom. I poured some rubber glue into the tip cavity and pushed and turned the "stick" until it was nice and tight onto the new rubber tip. It's now been about 3 months and its performance is perfect! The tip holds well to the walking stick, and it shows no sign of wear or tear -- I'm still using the first one from the package of eight.

These are a great value for your money. Remember to check the height of your poles as these are thicker than most. Great for anti-vibration.

I have found that a pair of walking poles gives me more stability, and eases arthritis pain in my knee. If you walk on pavement you will find that after a couple of months the ends of the poles start making metal contact with the sidewalk, which is annoying and significantly reduces stability as poles start to slip. Buying a package of these universal-fit rubber tips solves the problem. I found that it was easy to pull of the worn tips using my gripper gloves, and the new tips slid on and stayed on very easily. Very worthwhile purchase.
