Sharp images. No chromatic aberration. Smooth focus. Would have liked to see a few more mm of metal in front of the objective lens to protect lens. As it is, the lens cap touches lens and leaves greasy smudges on lens surface.

My father-in-law loved this gift. He loves birdwatching, and since he is always at his office for work, why not have a portable monocular while taking a break to bird watch.

The monocular worked well, but first time I had it with me in the rain it fogged up. It was in a fanny pack which was partially exposed to the rain so the shaft was partially wet when I returned from the hike - it fogged up soon after that and hasn't cleared up since (it's been about a week). Amazon says it can be returned until 1/31/25, but the normal return option is not showing up and I can't find it?

This is a very high quality product. I noticed as soon as I opened the delivery box that it was thoughtfully and securely packaged. The product is all metal and very sturdy, and the optics are very clear and easy to use. I have purchased several other brands and sizes of monoculars and binoculars, and this one works the best for back yard bird watching. Sharp views and easy to handle. I highly recommend this product.
