I used to purchase the Target generic version of these, but they were more expensive and only came in a 2 or 3 pack. If you can figure out how to put the plastic bag into the cartridge, then this product is a great alternative and price to what is available in stores. I saw a review that the plastic was thin and ripped for someone, and i had that happen once, but not since and that won't deter me from ordering these again because price is best in this form. Hope this is helpful.

I'm very disappointed. I was hoping for an alternative to the expensive name brand. My whole house smelled like cat pee. At first I thought my cat was peeing outside of her liter box. Then, I realized the smell was the strongest around the liter mate can. Now I'm stuck with a bunch of refills I'll never use.

It doesn't say they are scented, but they do have a strangely floral odor. The bags fit reasonably well into the cartridge, but if you don't put them in perfectly, they don't pull through. Would not order again.
