The valve works fine however the screws do not fit, don't waste your time using the new screws use your existing screws, if you do you will put it on twice it's not in a very good place. The new screws will not tighten up on a 7.3 filter housing. Update: valve started leaking after 4 months had to replace it again. I do not recommend this product for a 7.3 L diesel engine filter housing.

I had leakage between drain valve and filter housing, so I tried this because it was fast delivery. Installed properly, reinstalled filter and it leaked way worse than before. instead of leaking out the O-rings between housing and unit, fuel was dumping out the drain pipe with the valve fully closed (as if the valve was fully open). I kept the old valve just in case I had an issue, so I installed the old valve using the O-rings off the new unit. No leaks now with the old valve and new O-rings. Very time consuming removing filter twice for an issue that should have been taken care of first time.

Did not work at all! Screws are not the right size and the internals are not sized correctly so it will not just leak but pour out
