The tool to remove the anode rod was too short and the hole was in a bad spot because of it. Therefore the tool was impossible to use. The tool needs to be longer so it is actually usable.

About ready to change out the Anode rod on our RV water heater again and spotted this kit.This appears to be a very good quality tank flusher, with very useful accessories.What's in the box:2 Anode rods1 Wire brush for cleaning the threads where the rod screws into the water heater. Over time deposits build up on the threads so this is a very useful accessory to clean the crud out of those threads.2 Rolls of teflon tape.1 Wrench, although I use a socket wrench with an extension that works better.2 - Plastic drain plugs for the water heater. NOT to be used when operating the water heater, but you can put one in place instead of the anode rod after flushing the water heater. Only when storing the RV.1 - Tank flusher with all metal wand. This one has a short extension that screws on to the end of the longer tube. Makes for easier adjustment of the angle.2 - Garden hose connector for the flusher.See the attached photos for more details. You do need to assemble the flusher, but it is pretty easy.Note that there are NO instructions included with this kit.I've used cheaper plastic flusher wands in the past and found they tended to leak in short order. Where I had issues with those all plastic ones was leaking where the plastic tube was attached to the valve body.In the case of this one the metal tube screws onto the valve body and doesn't leak.It's hard to tell on initial usage how well the plastic valve body will hold up over time, but it appears to be very well made so I'm hoping for long life.A tip I've found useful is to use some teflon pipe dope in addition to the teflon tape. In the past I have sometimes had issues getting a tight seal when only using teflon tape. But since I've started adding a thin layer of teflon pipe dope I haven't had any leaking at all when installing the anode rod.All in all a very useful kit at a reasonable price.

We are full timers, so our Suburban hot water heater gets a real workout.Once a year I replace the anode rod.I took a small hose and made my own rinser.It worked but was really messy having a full water flow.Needing a new anode rod for this years replacement when I saw this kit I thought this would be a great thing to have for my yearly hot water heater maintenance.The kit has everything you need to replace the anode rod including 2 rods, a wrench and Teflon tape.Once the old anode rod is out, to clean the interior of the tank, the kit includes a rinser and a brush.The rinser works great, it has a quick connect to connect it to your hose, it has a push handle that controls the water flow.At the end of the 15-inch-long stainless-steel wand, it creates a high-pressure mist to safely clean the tank interior.If the bottom of the tank has a lime buildup the included brush works great to help clean it out.If you do your own hot water heater maintenance, this is a must have kit !!

It’s a great value for your money. The socket that it came with, was too short for me to use a screwdriver to turn. I replaced it with a similar product, but the socket is a bit longer.

Keeping up on RV maintenance is really important if you want your things to work. I think an often neglected device is the hot water heater. I know I don't take care of it has best I should.I ordered the Kiecusoy 9 piece RV water heater kit so I could have the tools and parts I need to have a good spring tune-up of my Suburban hot water heater. This kit comes with everything needed to clean and use the hot water heater such as two anode rods, a tank rinsing tool, a stainless steel brush, two rolls of Teflon thread tape, two drain plugs, and a dual hex wrench removal tool. That's a pretty complete kit!If you need an RV hot water heater maintenance kit it's hard to beat this one.
