Overall product was pretty easy to assemble by myself and the quality is great. The paint may chip easily depending what you put on it. I slid a 16ft ladder and took some paint off right away. In my case, it’s for my work truck so the rack will get scratched up anyway. The only urgent thing that you may need to consider is buying some locktite for the screws. The screws were tight when assembled but after just a few days of driving around, due to vibration, some screws became loose and I lost about 3 on the freeway. I bought extra screws and put some locktite on it and they have not fallen off since. I would definitely recommend regardless.

I wanted to get a rack system so I could haul my wife's large fishing kayak above the bed of the truck where we put our 2 trail motorcycles. This system sets up high enough I think I can make it work. I am impressed with the fit and finish, and the assembly went pretty smooth. I had to deviate a bit from the pictures, as the 2012 Silverado is wider than what was pictured in the brochure fit, but it went on pretty well. Seems very solid so far and will not be able to be fully tested by me until winter ends in 3 months. Still, I know I could load up ladders and wood and start a contractor business tomorrow!

Looks good on the truck. With a 5.6 bed the length of the rack goes to 7ft 3inches.

This is an excellent rack for my 2015 Ford 150 pickup (short bed).. It goes together easily. Since I use a camper on my truck it is so nice that it is very easy and quick to take off and on. I can actually leave the front portion on with the camper. These people are great to deal with for customer support. I lost one of the tie downs (my fault completely) and they sent me another one... Highly recommend this rack and this company.

They say it’s rated to 800 pounds I find that highly to believe. I do roofing abs I got it for ladder and some plywood. So I put plywood up there way less then 800 pounds. I sheet of plywood is roughly 45 pounds I put about 13 pieces up there and the fasteners snapped right in half everything came tumbling down. The plates that you tighten to the bed also bent. I was very discouraged because they looked like it was quality. Luckily enough the seller was understanding and reasonable and said will give me a refund. So the quality of this isn’t too good. As for the seller they seem nice and understanding. We will see.

Installed the full rack with cantilever on my 2016 F150 supercrew cab with short bed. Good construction and light being aluminum. Only thing that doesn't make much sense is the tie downs are made to be adjustable and slide but they expect you to lock them into position and then cut and install a sealing strip along the track. Problem is once you cut it and put it in the track what good is it having adjustable tie downs? Need the sealing strip to reduce wind noise. Regardless still makes for a nice truck rack.

Very sturdy, strong materials. Fits perfectly on our RAM 1500, we put two kayaks on it and they don’t budge. Very happy with the purchase.
