Storage bag provides excellent extra room to travel with more stuff, if needed. Easy enough install on rooftop, and secure. There was rain on my trip, and all items remained completely dry.

I drive a 2022 Toyota Corolla Hatchback and I have 4 small dogs. Recently when I moved across states, I needed to utilize cargo space. I couldn’t afford getting a tow hitch and trailer, so for a small amount I added valuable extra space on top. The hooks worked just fine, but the rubber pad they send to keep the carrier in place was 100% INEFFECTIVE. That wasn’t so bad though, as the hooks did a great job. But definitely would work better with roof racks. However if you don’t have them, perhaps some extra bungees. I didn’t even fill mine to capacity, but it holds a lot! And it’s made of super strong plastic/rubber. The top is zippered and then the top lays over the zippers with Velcro. Very secure. Waterproof as well. I drive really fast and my cargo only moved to the back of my roof but stayed secure! I even had 2 sawhorses in it with my other boxes. Good product and I recommend!

I have a rear shelf on my 08 Jeep Commander 5.7, so adding a bit of protection for our travel items is a great idea, however, my concern is the initial advertising. Do not pay attention to the pictures of the item, this is NOT a solid box or roof or floor or sides, this is just a bag to protect your travel if they are not kept in the car. The images are meant to give you a sense of shape and size. So, either you travel with boxes or baggage that will cause the shape to appear as in the image OR you are aware of the fact that this is NOT a solid constructed and it just a well designed bag that you can stuff your stuff into while traveling and keep it from being exposed to the environment.I do recommend this, but took off a star because of the fact that they clearly CLEARLY made a poor attempt to convince the buyer that this was/is more solid than in reality. Pay attention to the pictures on all reviews.With that said, I do recommend this.

At first I absolutely loved this cargo bag but when we were coming home from vacation and was packing the zipper broke off. The tarp flew off off the car heading to our trip as well. The clips that hold the cargo to door frame fall off easily when storing it. Which makes it easier to lose them lost two with one use. Crazy.

The pictures feel intentionally misleading, there is no way you could ever replicate that shape with this on your car. It's a soft bag, it will flop around in the wind while driving but will keep your gear dry. You need your own boxes to put inside the pack so unless your boxes aren't waterproof I'm not sure why you would need this. The zippers and buckles aren't as strong as you would expect for something like this so don't try to squeeze your items down with them too much, if it's hard to zip closed take some stuff out or the zipper will break. Same with the buckles, if you need a lot of compression I would use external tie down straps. I was torn between 2-3 stars here, it is a big waterproof bag which is useful, but the picturs just feel so misleading.
