These transform you angle grinder into a polishing beast! Especially if you load them with some compound and use a gentle touch, these can do some serious buffing in a pinch! At about $3/wheel, there is some serious value here. As with all grinding wheels, just be sure to practice using them on some throw away material before touching them to something of value. Buffing awesome!

I'm not positive exactly what these would be specifically "best at" as opposed to a flat wool disk type but they do work well and seem well made.There's a lot more material to the disk and a but different feel in use but takes compound well and does a nice job.The edge does extend past the backer by a bit - at least when new, it won't scar the surface when working up to an inside edge or corner.Nice disks, decent price - seems like a good deal.

These are pretty neat, but they have a fairly steep learning curve.I think to properly use them, because there are NO instructions, you need a good way to control the speed on your angle grinder.At one point it grabbed a blade I was polishing chopped a chunk out of the polishing disk, and flung the blade across the room.Do I have to say be careful?But wow is this a GREAT add on to my polishing tools.

My grinder isn't variable speed, they still worked, but I think they would do better at a slower speed then what I have. I put some compound on one, and used it to sharpen a couple of axes and draw knifes to a razor edge. I used another one to try to polish some scratches out of an old windshield. I have a couple aluminum valve covers I might try them on next. I think I will need to get a variable speed grinder though before I try doing anything delicate. I'm going to try chucking one up in my bench top metal lathe to use like a standard polishing wheel.

These are excellent quality 4 1/2†wool discs with 7/8†arbor for use, preferably, on the low speed setting of a variable speed angle grinder. These are rated at 10k RPM max so will work on a standard angle grinder because polishing yields best results at low speeds the lowest or second lowest speed setting of a multi speed grinder is recommended. I plan to use these with green, white and blue compound - depending on what I’m polishing - to mirror polish steel and aluminum. The wool pads are dense and high quality, the discs have metal rings and the backings are a thick composite, so I expect these will last a good long time. These are great value for the price.

These are high quality wool polishing discs in my opinion. Best that I have personally used, although I am not an expert. I think that any casual user will be very impressed with these.The wool is very thick, has a lot of substance, and can be used vertically. Price is less than four dollars per disc, which seems reasonable for the quality.They fit great on my Ryobi brushless angle grinder.Of course, you need to use polishing compound/wax with these for proper outcome.Strong recommendation, I like them and I would reorder.

So far, the only project I’ve used them for is to buff out some fading on my headlight lenses. They worked great and left a nice clear lens. As shown in my photos, with a little headlight lens compound, this turned out very nice. I don’t think anybody would have any regrets using these wool polishing discs by ABARPRO.

These are very thick polish pads. Couldn’t believe it at first. After opening, I immediately touched the pads to check material and durability. Theses pads are of top-not h quality. Very impressed. Especially for the the money. 5-star
