Advanced Design Features
Knife-like sharp angled edges on tapered bevel are easily placed behind the part to secure a gripping surface, even when clearances are extremely limited, and gets under bearing far enough to not damage bearing when pulling. Splitter halves include SAE standard threaded holes for the acceptance of pushing or pulling attachments (not included).
Easy to Use
There are several uses for the puller arms and it will work where other pullers fail. Use them to remove pinions and differential bearings, take off shaft bearings and gears, and successfully rebuild your vehicle’s transmission. If you want to remove a bearing, assemble the big silver plate below it, screw the black arms into the silver plate, and secure it with the nuts. Tighten with a pushing or pulling attachment (not included; uses standard SAE threads) until touching the shaft where the bearing rides until you hear a "pop" or click and the bearing will start to slide off.

I had a cheaper set but it could not handle the wheel bearing that I worked with so I got this one. While this one piece is more expensive that the whole set, it is sturdy and has the job done. Well worth the $$ spent.

It is large enough to separate most bearing except where there is no insertion point between the bearing and axle or hub. The metal is too soft to wedge its way in. It's kind of a toss up. If its too hard it breaks if its too soft it bends. No luck on 2006 toyota tundra front hub.The race has no space between it and hub for tool insertion. I tried to force it in but it just bent the inside edge of the tool.

Needed to rebuild my Sterling differential off an 05 Excursion. Had to pull the pinion bearing in order to make a blank for setting the pinion depth for the new bearings and that's a task in it's self. This worked like a charm, no issues and smooth operation. Split and pulled the bearing without any problem. Tool did not chip, score or gouge and worked as it should.Great tool to have just in case.

Looks good haven’t used it yet fast shipping received three days earlierUsed it today to press axel bearings for golf cart worked great put in press and applied heat great price don’t use everyday I would definitely recommend the tool truck wanted $300.00 and was two weeks out this was delivered three days sooner than told awesome

Only used it twice so far to separate bearings on my backhoe. Worked perfectly, good quality for the price. Don't know how well it would hold up to continued heavy use, but for occasional use I think it will last just fine.
