The drift worked very well for helping knock pistons out of a big block engine. The punch looks nice too. Seems very strong and takes the abuse needed to remove those stubborn pistons. It will be a staple in the toolbox for sure. Very good value for the price also.

I’ve been using my coworkers’ brass punches to work on landing gears without compromising the aircraft materials and metals. I finally decided to get my own, and I’m happy with these punches; they are long and thick enough for the type of jobs we perform on our daily basis.

The brass punch combined with a big hammer made short work of removing the old CV axle from the front of my Lexus GX safely and without damaging the axle so it can be rebuilt.
