My Beloved Feline Son is very sensitive physically, and must have high quality food.. Acana does not disappoint. I do recommend though being sure to supplement this almost pure protein food with another more general food. They may be carnivores, but they have lived with us for millennia and now require a bit of grains.. In my boy's case we use a bit of prescription food, but there are plenty of others out there. He's a Fisherman-Cat, so he just looooooooooves Bountiful Catch.. Thank you for having good quality, and no suspicious ingredients as well as keeping it at a reasonable price.. Namaste...

Easy to switch from past kibble by mixing the two together. Cat ate it with no problems with adjusting to new kibble and seems to enjoy the taste.

Nutritious and reliable, however, it is not advisable to blend First Feast with any of their other lines for adult or older cats.When I tried to transition her from First Feast to Meadowlands, she was having trouble digesting the Meadowlands (softened stools) and vomited the Meadowlands. Not sure why this is.Prior to these events, she was in good health and had no problems digesting the First Feast. At this point, I would say it is NOT advisable to transition or blend First Feast with Meadowlands.

I decided to try this food for my 11 year old cat. She was getting thin and her coat felt greasy. She is a big Norwegian forest cat. After she had been on this food for about a month I notice she had filled out some and her coat isn’t greasy anymore. She LOVES this food and won’t eat the food I have my other two cats on. Will probably switch the other two eventually. It’s quite expensive but I’ve noticed I am going through less cat food as well. Highly recommend this food.

My female cat was itching like crazy loosing all the hair on her belly, back legs and upper tail. The vet wanted to try Prozac, it didn’t work. They put her on a prescription food that has a hydrolized protein, basically no meat in the food at all. I was not happy using a food that didn’t seem to have food in it but we did just in case it would help. Several $90 bags later there was no change. She was loosing weight and went from 10 pounds to 7. She is very tall and long and was starting to look malnourished. We decided to find a food and treat that had zero chicken. I found this brand and she loved it. Fast forward a few bags and all her hair is back and she weighs almost 8.5 pounds. I am so thankful for this food and so is she! As an added bonus all of my cats love it also.If you are reading this and experiencing the same issue tiki cat makes tuna treats with no chicken. I hope you never stop making this food!

My two cats have been eating this ACANA food for kittens since I adopted them in December last year. It was suggested by an employee at local pet shop. I have been buying this food at the local pet shop but decided to get it from Amazon for convenience.My cats that didn’t have any problem started to have diarrhea and stopped eating all the food that was served. (They always finish what’s served.)After the one purchase, I decided to buy the same food from the local pet shop again and my cats stopped having problem.At first I didn’t know what was causing the issue, but realized that it was the quality of this food sold at Amazon. The one that was shipped to us was bad.They still eat the same food purchased at the local pet shop. They eat all the food that was dished and they are healthy and happy again.The brand and quality of food is good so I recommend the food but would not recommend getting it from Amazon.
