One of my 45 year old glass salt & pepper shakers broke, so I purchased this stainless steel set to replace them. No more worries about breaking. They're a perfect size to use for cooking. Be aware that the holes are larger and distribute a lot of contents all at once.

The metal is thin but they were not expensive. Holds a lot and the top fits tightly. It would be nice if the plastic top would fit on the bottom for easy storage. I will need to add a label for salt and pepper.

Be extra sure lid is on tight. Was my fault that I dumped the entire pepper shaker on sandwich makings. Washed off lettuce and tomato and didn't use any pepper on hamburger. Saved all the pepper on counter -- all is good. Also loved cover of shakers; was easy to put "P" and "S" on respective shaker with Sharpie.

This seasoning shaker is exactly what I wanted for when I was cooking on my barbecue. I used to just try and use the shakers that the seasoning came in and most of the time I was OK but every once in a while I would get too much to come out. The little shakers dispense exactly the amount that I wanted so I don’t have guests that are getting the pucker face when they get too much seasoning on their burger.The quality seems right and they appears as if they will last a while. They’re fairly easy to open as well. So far I’m very happy with the purchase.

I’ve had these for a few weeks and they are working just as I wanted. I keep organic stevia powder in one for coffee etc. The other has rice flour in it that i use in making sourdough bread, to sprinkle the top/sides before the final rise. The covers keep everything fresh!
