The product description says "large holes" and talks about dredging with flour. The holes are 2 mm. "Dusting slowly" with flour, maybe, but "dredging," not a chance.For dredging try The industrial look is fun, and as a SALT shaker it works fine.

I use this for popcorn salt. I had to cover about 75% of the holes because they are too big and the salt just pours out.
