I use these for salt, and garlic powder, and must say they're extremely handy for cooking. The holes are big enough that shaking out the desired amount is easy, and I haven't had a problem with clogging yet (something I've struggled with due to humidity). Good purchase for the price!

These dredges would have gotten a 5 had their handles been at least slightly rolled instead of flat. However one seldom has to hold a dredge long enough for this to present a significant problem. I would purchase again. Useful for shaking out things other than salt and pepper.

I love the size of these. We had some similar growing up and I always liked how much salt and pepper came out at once. As a big salt and pepper user, it saves time when I don't have to shake the shakers to death to get any out of them. I bought some cute fancy salt and pepper shakers and getting enough salt and pepper out of them was ridiculous. I threw them away and I took a chance on these and I'm glad I did. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I use these for salt and pepper while I'm cooking. The salt pours freely but when cooking I need more than just a shake. I also use restaurant style black pepper which is a more coarsely ground pepper and it actually comes out of the holes well. I can imagine using these for many other ingredients so I will be ordering more!

I bought these for confectioners sugar and flour.The holes were too small for the xxx sugar and it clogged easily. The same with the flour. Perhaps when its not filled all the way it will work better as it will have room to loosen up as I shake it.

Attractive and heavy duty. Great addition to our portable griddle/grill set-up! Purchased two for salt and pepper and they work very good. Purchasing a few more for other seasonings.
