I absolutely love this. Multiple choices in shaker lids depending on how much seasoning you want to use for cooking, clear and securely closeable container, so it's safe for shaking seasonings, and you can easily see when you need to refill it, without having to take the lid off first.. Great price for it also. I will be ordering more for sure.

I bought this because I like to cook cod fillets but breading is such a mess. I looked at the fish breading bowls but they looked like clean up mess. This works perfectly and there is no clean up!! I make a mix of mostly onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika with a small amount of flour and some salt. Then shake this until the cod fillet is covered put that side down in the heated frying pan ( greased with butter or spry oil). Then as it starts cooking use the shaker again to shake the breading to cover the top of the cod fillets and cook as usual. I use the lid with the largest holes. I put the 3 bottles of spices in a pint mason jar and then just add flour an salt when I want to cook fish. If you buy the spices at Walmart their store brand are excellent and only $1 -$2 per bottle.

Perfect for Johnnies seasoning salt. We buy the large container from Costco. Also have our salt and pepper in these shakers. Hold a lot and can even stack!

I take care of a colony of over 30 feral cats (TNR'd). I am not a fan of kibble for kitties, but it is a necessity when you care for that many kitties.I have a sponsor that helps with providing kibble, but as an added insurance to maintain their health, I add NOW Nutritional Yeast (not to be confused with baking yeast!) sprinkled in their food. That is where this dredge comes in. I fill it with the nutritional yeast powder and it is so convenient to just shake the container and spread the nutritional yeast in with the food.The nutritional yeast adds beneficial B vitamins, etc. Especially during the harsh Winters we have here in Iowa, I like having just a little extra nutrition in the dreaded kibble, LOL. I also mix kibble with better ingredients (like IAMS kitten version) with the less than ideal kibble.The veterinarian that does the spays and neuters said that he has never seen such healthy feral cats. That warmed my heart. So I am especially thankful for this dredge because it makes dispensing the nutritional yeast a whole lot easier!

only one thing with these is i wish they came with a solid lid for storing.I have to put plastic wrap over the container and snap the lid back on.

Those "stainless steel" which I bought previously showed stain & signs of rust. This is perfect with multiple covers for different seasoning purpose & also it is transparant, makes it easier to see how much is left in the shaker!

I bought this for the sole purpose of dispensing homemade COARSE Garlic Salt when the usual premade product is out of stock.

Great overall, but it needs a blank Lid so when you're done you can keep the spices In or maybe use it to shake the spices when you add it in! But would still get it nonetheless!
