The chuck on my 35 year old floor drill press was no longer working well, sloppy and the key mostly didn't fit anymore. This chuck looked well made and a great value. It has met all of my requirements: very well made with excellent tolerances, no wobble, smooth operation and a high quality key. I have since sold the drill press and the buyer was convinced by the new chuck to complete the purchase. Clearly added value to an old machine.

Recently picked up a mid-range drill press second hand. The original chuck had been (badly) abused and was just shot. I pressed one of these on and checked it out. Grip was great, both on the taper and in the jaws. Runout (measured about 4" down a 3/8" steel pin) was under 0.005". Very satisfied with that -- don't have any way of knowing if they are all that good. The chuck key fits nicely and has a thick green plastic coating. No complaints so far!

I have a cheap Harbor Freight bench top drill press and the run out on the chuck was more than 1/16".I bought this hoping it would improve that and it did. It's a much more substantial chuck. I tried it with a1 1/2" forstner bit in pine and it drilled great. It had very little wobble and made a smooth hole. I still have run out but it's less and I'm sure it's mostly from the shaft being out in the drill press, not the chuck.

Smooth operation and precise enough for me, I got a total runout of about 5 thou measuring off of a drill bit.

I was looking for a repalcement chuck for my Delta Drill press that is about 20 years old that look brand new as it was barely used however the JT33 chuck on it was jammed and had a missing key. I removed it and tried this chuck after no luck finding one local to me. Fit without issue. This is a great upgrade as now I can accept bigger bits the old could not do.

Arrived one day ahead of schedule. Runout tested with a dial gauge. 0.001inches. (O.0254mm). That is good enough for me.
