This is an OEM replacement, so it fit perfectly. Just beware - on the 2004 Classic/Malibu, Chevy decided to put the pulleys right next to the inner fender, so you need a long, skinny 3/8 ratchet with a low profile head or a special belt tensioner tool to let the tension off. It also takes a bit of manual dexterity to get it routed correctly while holding the tension off.
