This blend door motor fits and works great! This actuator fit the first time and runs perfectly, now I get heat when on hot and cold when on cold.If you get one of these actuators make sure to leave it unplugged until you have it aligned and installed, it might not affect it but plugging it up last is easy and won't cause any problems. After installing it and plugging it up turn on the key and cycle the heat to full hot and then to full cold, sometimes the actuator learns its limits and works best.

My old actuator wasn’t working at all and had my air inlet/re-circulation flap stuck in the middle allowing outside air to mix with the AC air. Changed this out with 30 minutes and works great

I installed this on my 2002 GMC Sierra 1500HD and it fit perfect. Just remove the lower duct cover and it's located in the middle of the car. Was an identical fix to the OEM actuator. However, I did not receive any paperwork, installation instructions, or warranty paperwork with the actuator. I hope it does not fail, because I'm not sure where to return it to. Overall good price, package well and arrived in 2-days with Amazon Prime.

I have struggled with after market actuators and found only this orig part works. My blender door stopped working on my 2001 Yukon XL. It should have been a simple fix just change the actuator and recalibrate. I went through several aftermarket encoders trying to get this to work and even tried replacing the HVAC control.I finally ordered this part and it works perfectly.Three recommendations to avoid the trouble I had.1. Make sure replace me t part number is same as part removed. This part has other slight variations.2. Don’t turn on the key until the part is installed. If you do it might overtravel and stop working. You will have to open it a lift the Middle gear slightly and rotate it until the actuator is in middle position.3. Disconnect battery for 1 minute, turn blower to off, reconnect and then turn on key and wait a couple of minutes for it to recalibrate. Pulling the fuse did not ever work for me.Great part.

This is one of those items you don't want to buy used, like new. They will all be defective. They are out of range from improper installation, sometimes they are recoverable, but not usually and you have to know how to reset them properly in order to install the unit. If you don't have the knowledge on that, you should only buy new. Even if you do have the knowledge, which I do, most of the time, they are not recoverable through the AC Delco reset procedure.Do yourself a favor, if you need the item, spend the extra money and buy it brand new in the original packaging, check that the slot is within the range of the hash marks when you receive it, do not install if not in the range it is supposed to be in, it will fail to perform calibration when initialized and throw a B fault code for low circuit. You will spend lots of time, checking wiring, suspecting HVAC control module problem when it all boils down to the actuator was out of range to begin with.

I bought this for my 99 chevy silverado in hopes for having air condition this summer. It arrived and I dropped my cover off the bottom of my heater and pulled the old one off and installed it. I did as the instructions said and didn't hook the clip for the power to it or test it till i had it permantely mounted. I hooked it up and tried it and it worked breiefly and I thought....YES. I turned it off and when I got back in the truck a few days later and turned the AC on it made a funny noise like a cow bawling and started blowing hot air. I took it back off and tried to wire it to blow cold air all the time or aleast for the summer, and that worked for a day or so and then I heard that noise again and here comes the hot air again. At this point I don't drive this vechicle except at night due to the heat it blows. Guess I am going to have to break down and take it to a shop or garage to get it fixed !! Really disappointed on how this fix it project turned out !!!!

191st. one lasted about a month, but Amazon's excellent customer care had a warantee replacement out pronto. The device is easy enough to install if you don't mind slithering on the floorboard trying to start sheetmetal screws back into ABS plastic bosses (Silverado).
